First editions. 2 vols, thick and heavy 4tos illustrated with plates, photos, maps, diagrams throughout and bound in publisher's olive cloth with gilt illustration and lettering to front covers and spines. Ownership signatures at front, few small stains to boards and rubbing along top edge. Very good or better.

2 nice volumes of these important reports, copiously illustrated with engravings and covering the years 1924-26.  Much on the Creek, Seminole, Osage, Wawenock, Picuris, Iroquois, and other cultures including myth, religion, cosmology, ceremony, etc.
